The multidisciplinary international WORK2019 Conference on work and working life will be organised for the fourth time. The conference will be held in August 14-16 at the Finlandia Hall and the National Museum of Finland, Helsinki. This year, the main organisers of the conference are the Turku Centre for Labour Studies TCLS, SWiPE Research Consortium and the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku, together with the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health.
The registration for the conference is now open! The registration form and details of the conference theme and the preliminary program are available on the WORK2019 conference website. Reduced early bird pricing is valid until 19 June.
The keynote speakers of the conference have also been announced. The invited plenarists are professor Allison Pugh from the University of Virginia, professor Valerio De Stefano from the University of Leuven, professor Ilana Gershon from the Indiana University, professor Vili Lehdonvirta from the University of Oxford and professor Lilly Irani from the University of California.
