SWiPE researcher Eveliina Saari took part in a YLE radio series on the future of everyday life on 21.11.2017. Saari was speaking about how work will change because of digitalisation and the platform economy. The programme looked at what kinds of new professions are being created in the social- and healthcare sector where new-era professionals are themselves crafting their work and are actively taking part in creating change. The programme also touched on whether young people prefer to do crowdsourced work or to have a stable, secure, income. The discussants also pondered how life long learning will become part of work in the future.
The programme is available to listen to in Yle Arena (in Finnish).
