Tomorrow begins the three-day conference WORK2017, bringing together over three hundred researchers, decision-makers and business representatives to discuss the digital future of work and the economy at the Turku School of Economics. The SWiPE project is one of the main organisers of the WORK2017 conference.
The WORK2017 conference will provide an excellent opportunity to take part in the ongoing debate on how digitalisation transforms work, the economy and society, and to an increasing extent the way we organise work in the future.
Top scientists and experts in the field will present their most current research at the WORK2017 conference, with keynote addresses from the internationally acclaimed authority on platform economies, Martin Kennedy, from the University of California, from Monder Ram at the University of Birmingham an expert on migrant entrepreneurs, from the director of the Institute of the Future in Palo Alto, Marina Gorbisia, from Peter Levin, a strategist from Intel Corporation, and on work in Artificial intelligence by Ifeoma Ajunwa from Harvard University and Dan Green from Microsoft Research. Convening the WORK2017 conference is the director of our SWiPE Research Consortium, Professor Anne Kovalainen from the University of Turku.
You can follow the WORK2017 conference on the WORK2017 and here on the SWiPE website while taking part in an up-to-the-minute conversation by Twitter to @WORK2017fi and @Swipe_STN. You can also use the hashtag # WORK2017fi.
We hope to see you join us at WORK2017 to debate the future of work, the economy and entrepreneurship!
