Marja Rautajoki works as a project researcher in SWiPE research consortium. She is also a coordinator of the WORK2019 conference organizing team. In addition, she works at the Turku Centre for Labour Studies at the University of Turku.
Rautajoki is a Master of Arts majoring in German language and linguistic specialist. In autumn 2018 she completed her master’s thesis which examined platform economy and crowdwork platforms from a discursive perspective in German online magazines. As minors Rautajoki has studied working life and personnel issues, leadership and international business communications. Her special interests include changing work and working life, future work, changing leadership and the wellbeing at work. In her bachelor’s thesis, she studied the sense of community in German personnel journals. Rautajoki has also a BBA majoring in HRM.
